Residential Proposal,

Brentwood, TN

The proposal for this private residence creates a terraced composition of distinct Architectural volumes on a hillside. The interstitial spaces between modules retain the pre-existing vegetation, establishing a continuous dialogue between the built form and the natural context. The exterior interstitial spaces are not merely voids but are distinct spatial experiences.

The architectural language is characterized by intentional subtractive and additive processes, resulting in a composition of apertures. These fenestrations serve a dual purpose: to articulate internal spatial relationships and to frame specific views of the surrounding landscape.
